With a brother who suffered from a lifelong chronic disease, I have a lifetime of experience in navigating the healthcare system and advocating for the unique needs of an individual. I’ve also had the privilege of guiding many families through their healthcare journeys.  Every case is as unique as the client and the family that I have been honoured to work with. About Lorraine

I bring over 30 years of professional medical experience to Pathfinder Healthcare Navigation Inc.  I worked in the Respiratory Therapy field for 20 years in many capacities including: hospital based clinical practice, medical equipment sales, pharmaceutical sales/marketing, and patient education. With 15 years of business management and consultant experience in pharmaceutical sales and patient support programs, I’ve worked with healthcare practitioners and teams of all specialties from community settings to university level teaching hospitals.

I understand the Canadian healthcare system from the inside out and use my expertise to help our clients understand and access the care they need. Using a client-centered approach to care planning, I will help you to access the services that are available from either the public system or the private one. I understand the limitations of healthcare insurance policies and can help you to get the coverage you are entitled to from your insurance provider. I realize that caregivers are as important as clients/patients and will ensure that the caregiver gets the help they need to navigate the healthcare system.
